TTP LabTech’s Resonant Acoustic Profling (RAP) technology contains an acoustic biosensor at its core for label-free interaction analysis, producing the highest quality data in real-time. The detection of molecular interactions through acoustic technology offers users substantial advantages over optical biosensors. For example, the RAP platform enables concentration measurement over a large dynamic range in complex samples that may contain impurities such as solvents, serum or growth media.

TTP LabTech's RAP platform combines parallel flow cells for the simultaneous analysis of test samples and/or reference material. Automated sample handling, precise temperature control and state of the art analysis software allows hundreds of samples to be processed with minimal user intervention and generates data with excellent experimental reproducibility.

The RAP platform provides a sound alternative to optical biosensors by offering the following benefits:

  • analysis of crude and complex samples with minimal purification
  • 3-log dynamic range for concentration determination

  • measurement of only physical binding events
