Integration

comPOUND modules can easily be linked together to form a larger sample library. Modules can be connected in parallel allowing tubes in different modules to be accessed simultaneously, which results in faster processing times as the library grows. Remote delivery stations can be added to a store to deliver samples to a laboratory in a different room or on a different floor of the building. Modules can also be interfaced to existing sample processing systems or connected to comPILER to form a fully automated store-to-plate preparation system.

comPOUND’s software provides an easy means of scheduling the storage, retrieval and processing of microtubes and can be interfaced to virtually any compound management system. Highlights of the software include:

• Easy connectivity via ASCII file transfer or COM interface for order submission and report generation  
• Full scheduling capability allowing timed automatic retrieval and storage of vials
