low cost of operation
Low cost, disposable micropipettes remove the need for expensive wash solvents and replacing costly, fragile, fixed-tip dispenser heads. mosquito's ability to miniaturise assay volumes can dramatically reduce reagent and consumable costs.

A single reel of mosquito® micropipettes can service more than 90 x 384-well plates or 375 x 96-well plates before needing to be replaced. Reel changeover takes less than 2 minutes.

zero cross-contamination
For critical applications where even parts-per-million carry-over is unacceptable, mosquito's low-cost disposable micropipettes offer zero cross-contamination with every liquid transfer cycle.

The problems of set-up and maintenance associated with fixed pipettes are entirely eliminated. Seal wear is now a thing of the past. No single blockage will result in a loss of data throughout the entire run.

Training to use mosquito® takes as little as half an hour, and instrument maintenance is minimal so it is an ideal instrument for multi-user labs.
