compound handling & serial dilutions mosquito® HTS can clone primary assay plates by adding a little as 25 nanoliters to a dry assay plate - a goal for many screeners as this avoids unnecessary dilution steps and minimises solvent concentration. Precious compounds can be saved by performing assay-ready serial dilutions in ultra-low volumes (down to 1 microliter total drop size) in 96, 384 or even 1536-well plates. Using the dilution plate as the assay plate saves a process step as well as minimising reagent usage.
