speed Any tube can be retrieved in an average of 5 seconds. If multiple comPOUND storage modules are connected, the throughput will rise dramatically. modularity means future-proofing comPOUND grows with your library size. A single standard module provides storage for 100,000 tubes, or a D2 module can store up to 200,000 tubes. As your sample collection grows, you can easily add more modules and link their outputs together - speeding up processing. You can choose to transfer collated racks of tubes to downstream processes by hand, by using the comPANION remote arrayer, or by using our comPILER store to plate system.

portability comPOUND's compact size means it will fit into a standard lab. It has in-built refrigeration so no special building or services are required. If your lab or sample collection needs to be resited, comPOUND can move with it – it’s that easy. security Every tube has a unique barcode which is read upon entry and exit. Tube locations are stored in a UPS-protected database. The database can automatically be rebuilt without tubes having to leave the system. built-in reliability comPOUND has very few moving parts and most of these are external to the low temperature environment chamber. There are no robot grippers to cause failure and the tubes are contained within the system right up to the point of delivery. protection Samples are stored in the dark in a dry, inert atmosphere. In-built refrigeration keeps samples cool at any temperature from ambient down to –20° C.
