The Acumen eX3 has been used to classify cells into G1, S, G2/M
and polyploidyic phases of the cell cycle by determining their
DNA content. Cell cycle analysis is performed by staining nuclear
DNA with reagents such as Hoescht (405 nm), propidium iodide (488 nm) and
DRAQ5 (633nm).
To improve screening efficiency, TTP LabTech have developed a cell cycle analysis
method for the Acumen eX3 which offers the following benefits:
-
rapid in situ cell cycle analysis of adherent cells on a
genome-wide scale
-
live and fixed cell protocols
-
multiplex with, for example, mitotic index and apoptosis assay
-
FCS file export capability
